A drive with XJet (and some FPV)

Not much excitement in this video but I thought I'd throw my AXN RC plane complete with the very original FPV Backpack prototype in the truck and see if I could find a nice place to practice my FPV flying after months of being grounded.
As you can see, most of the land around the town of Tokoroa is pretty uneven in contour which would make it hard to fly many models outside the area of the town or airfield. Although there are farmers willing to offer the use of their land, flat land suitable for such activities is pretty hard to find.
I wasn't using my FPV pole setup so I didn't venture more than a few hundred metres from the launch point when flying FPV in these videos.
It's all a bit boring really - but the TBS Caparihna (sp?) will soon be done and I'll be testing a swag of new FPV gear on my RCModelReviews channel so stay tuned for something a little more exciting.
I used a #16 keychain camera to record the airborne video but in future I'll be using a 1080p full HD camera because the #16 doesn't handle complex scenes (lots of rapidly moving detail) particularly well.
And yes -- I'm looking a bit shaggy -- haven't found my #2 hair/beard trimmers yet after the move.
