Here was an interesting test - We took a GoPro Hero 1, Hero 2, and Hero 3 Black, mounted them side-by-side on a roller coaster to see what the difference in image quality was.
Each camera was set to 1080p, 30FPS, at the widest FOV they offered. (The Hero 2 & 3 offers a slightly wider FOV than the Hero 1.) Weather and lightning conditions were NOT ideal, which I actually think made this a pretty good test!
You'll see the initial run is all three cameras side-by-side, and then the footage from each camera on it's own.
This was shot on White Lightning at Fun Spot America in Orlando.
