"Pardon Me" is, for most people, an expression and nothing more. Like “excuse me”, we don’t really think much about it in daily life. However, The Bearded Man found himself in a situation where it took on a verrrrrry different meaning for him. You see, being accused of espionage is no laughing matter. In reality, it was a trumped up charge, with no basis in fact. However, a certain government official of a certain country which shall not be named had accused our hero of this heinous crime because, frankly, he was upset that his daughter and The Bearded Man were messing around. Faced with a lifetime of imprisonment, The Bearded Man found himself in front of a judge. He stood in front of the crowded courtroom, played this song on a boombox on a cassette, and watched their reactions. He needed this pardon badly, and fortunately for him, he got it. Yikes.
