Zack Snyder's Son Rumored To Play Robin In Batman v Superman

A new rumor suggests director Zack Snyder could be keeping it in the family when it comes to casting a famous sidekick in next year’s Batman v Superman. Today’s episode of Clevver News Feed is brought to you by the new John Green movie, Paper Towns in theaters July 24! There’s no question that Robin will exist in DC’s new Cinematic Universe, but could Zack Snyder’s son be the new Boy Wonder? It has long been rumored that Batman’s sidekick “Robin” would be playing a role in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and this was confirmed thanks to the recent Comic Con trailer. In the trailer, we see Robin’s costume displayed in the Batcave with a message from The Joker spray painted across the chest saying, “HaHaHa jokes on you Batman”. Most fans theorize this alludes to the film using a story from the comics in which the second Robin, Jason Todd, is beaten half to death by The Joker and then killed in an explosion. Robin’s death weighs heavy on Batman and he keeps the uniform on display in the Batcave as a reminder. Whether or not we actually see Robin in the film remains to be seen, but a new rumor from Heroic Hollywood suggests Zack Snyder’s son, Eli, will in fact appear as Robin in a flashback scene with Jared Leto’s Joker. Though this should be considered just a rumor at this point, this wouldn’t be the first time Eli has appeared in one of his father’s films. He previously played “Young Leonidas” in 300 and “Young Rorschach” in Watchmen and played a soldier in 2011’s Sucker Punch. Adding fuel to the rumor, photographer Clay Enos, who was the Still Photographer on Batman v Superman recently posted this pic of Zack Snyder with his son with the caption “Boy wonder?” We’ll have to wait and see how it all plays out when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in theaters on March 25th, 2016, but what do you think of Robin being included in the film and would Eli Snyder be a good choice to play him?
