Henry Cavill Batman v Superman First Official Look!

It's been almost two months since we got our first look at Ben Affleck as the new Batman and now it's Henry Cavill's turn in the spotlight. Director Zack Snyder has released the first official pic of Cavill in his full Superman attire and it's clear we'll be seeing the Man of Steel go somewhere we've never seen him go before on the big screen -- Gotham City! Though it's not specifically stated as Batman's home turf, the dark tone and foreboding storm clearly suggests Superman isn't in shiny Metropolis any more. USA Today spoke with Snyder and in the article it does confirm that Superman will at one point travel to Gotham in the film. In the interview, Snyder talked a bit about introducing Batman into his Man of Steel universe, explaining that he was in no rush to put The Dark Knight in the film, but felt it seemed to be an organic progression after the events of the first film. He also thinks after 75 years and 7 feature films, they didn't have to introduce the character yet again and could have an older, weathered Batman. As for Batman's relationship with Superman in the film, Snyder wouldn't delve too much into how it will evolve, but did suggest the two heroes would be at odds at least for part of the film -- hence the "v" in the film's title. As for why they decided to go with just a "v" instead of "vs", Snyder explained it was a subtle way to show that it won't be a straight "versus" movie. So, as we all expect, our heroes will most likely join forces by the end of the film. Thus far we've seen Batman and Superman, but what about Wonder Woman? According to Snyder, he has yet to shoot any scenes with Gal Gadot in her Amazonian warrior outfit, so we may be waiting a bit longer for that reveal.
