Vario SA 315B Lama Turbine Heli - Pre-Maiden Setup

This video is not a flight video but is a sneak peek at this amazing scale heli. This session at the field was for the purpose of running up the turbine and to adjust the gains on the gyros, etc. The Lama was fired up for about a half hour or so and made many short hovers to tweak the gyro settings. You'll notice that it starts to smooth out quite a bit towards the end of the video.
The Lama is about 90% complete and I hope to bring you two more videos; one a walk-around with the owner/builder John to discuss the major components that went into the build and then, a video of the Maiden flight.
Phil from Leisure Tech Products was on hand to pilot the heli during this setup period and to assist John with the set up.
