I recently got the DX9 and I love it. After playing with it a week, I decided to do a quick comparison of the models and then show a few tips that hopefully will be helpful. At the end I do tell my story about what happens when you are an early adopter, but Time Flys HobbyTown () and Horizon Hobby (/) both make it worth it. You just need a little patience and to keep an eye on your hobbies web site and Facebook pages for important updates.
I forgot to mention when putting in model names and you want to delete everything after space 3, select space 4 so it is blinking and then click the clear button twice. When you have a space selected and the roller to the left shows lowercase letter, click clear and then the symbols will now show when you scroll left. Click clear again to cycle to the next set of characters. Finally, get used to the servo menu and it becomes real easy to copy DX8 setting to DX9 side by side.
