FPV Quadcopter Merrivale Quarry 2, Dartmoor UK
time to revisit Merrivale Quarry, its been a few years since I had been to this quarry for some FPV fun but nothing had changed. It looks like this site is being preserved as some of the out buildings had new roofs covering old drill bit sharpeners and Furness which were used during the life of the quarry.
2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz frequencies were not too bothered about traveling through the building walls while flying at this site which enabled some great fun to be had.
As normal my spotter for the day was CamSump, check out his channel:

Very light cross wind
Last time I visited this site was when I was still very new to flying and in strong winds, back in August 2012, check out the video below:
I can say with confidence that the quality of video and flying has improved a lot.
