Italy's dance scene has found its flag bearer. Producer Fabio Carrara has been working himself up since 2007, kicking off with his Alex Bartlett alias and the many jewels that came along with it. Since 2009, he walked upon dance land under a name closer to his own, Fabio XB. Next to collabs with Lange, Yves De Lacroix, Micky Vi, Ronnie Play and Andrea Mazza, he unveiled his first solo release 'Reflected' in early summer of 2011. Now that the dust has started to settle and autumn is calling, Fabio XB presents a new ride to keep you warm: 'Flash of Life'.
A deep, flowing melody rushes over as soon as 'Flash of Life' finds your ears. It feels like a deep dive into warm progressive, with rays of soothing vocals, electric elements and uplifting trance stabs after the break.
German producer Cressida gave this beauty a little extra push, touching the boundaries of trance and progressive with a mesmerizing remix.
