In this little tutorial I show you how to remove the side door of the GoPro Hero 5 Session so when mounted in the included frame you will still have access to the USB C port for charging and also for adding an external microphone. Sometimes you need longer battery life for extended shooting or long time lapses, this technique allows you to connect a power-bank or external battery to your GoPro Hero 5 session and keep your session continuously charged. It also allows you to connect the new GoPro USB C Pro 3.5mm Mic Adaptor while mounted in the frame.
