The Burke Mountain Freeride, hosted by Emgee Events, hit the legendary Toll Road in Vermont on August 29-30 (yes, the same Burke Mountain Road that Ryan Tuerck slayed with his FRS "street car").
2015 was the first year of the Burke Mountain Freeride event which allowed riders to tackle the mountain in a non-competitive setting. As event organizer Mike Girard said:
"The road's technicality, narrow width, and imperfect pavement make it rather unsafe for normal 4-man racing. While some intermediate riders used this opportunity to advance their downhill skateboarding skills, more advanced riders take the track's ten corners at breakneck speeds and dial the absolute fastest lines possible, with top speeds reaching 55mph. Norman Plante falls into the latter category, and this is one of (if not the) most spectacular runs we have seen down the Burke track."
In this raw run, Norman Plante is followed by Jeff Steiner, filming with Kai Salam's DSLR camera mounted to the hood of his VW GTI.
