TopRC Gee Bee R3R Flight test
Well, this plane does not fly like a Gee Bee at all. Slow flight characteristics, you can see are very good. Flat turns, stall turns, inverted flights, all really good, and no tippy, stally problems with it.
And the Knife Edge circuits in a Gee Bee are amazing!
I do have a lot of yaw on power with this though, and may be why KE is so easy lol, so like most models you have to add right rudder on take-off and sometime watch in flight if you "punch it" but other than that, no real bad flight habits.
Very acrobatic model and fun to fly. Of course, the comments on the looks of the thing on the ground, and in the air are all great.
This concept version of a GeeBee is not scale as there is no full scale like this one, but it would be awesome to see one that size flying.
