This is some test footage i threw together using the Walkera Ladybird V2 with a stripped down 808 #16 camera. The camera is attached with a piece of foam between the frame and PCB board to reduce extra vibrations or 'jello' effect. There is some pixelation on the raw footage i could not remove.
The 808 #16 camera has impressed me from the first day i got it and having put this video together it has really shown me the potential it has. The Ladybird V2 is by no means the perfect filming quad, it is small, light and powerful without the camera attached, but as soon as you add that extra weight it handles like it weighs a tonne. If the wind catches it it is then fighting the wind and extra weight, causing it to lose lift.
I think i will go back to this spot and try to do more over water shots, aiming to get them smoother and slower/faster etc. Its all an experiment for when i get my DJI Flamewheel 450 to carry my trusty GoPro Hero 2, which i used for the timelapse at the end of the video.
