Despite a blemish-free record of over 50 years RC model flying, somehow, I am considered too dangerous to be trusted with even a 99 gram foam RC plane at the Tokoroa airfield - yet, as you will see in this video, aircraft from the CTC flight school in Hamilton New Zealand, which repeatedly show contempt for CAA regulations and safety -- are still allowed to use the airfield *free of charge*... to this day.
The objectivity and agendas of certain parties within the SWDC, CAA and MFNZ must be called into question when it comes to the way I have been actively discriminated against. Whilst others are allowed to repeatedly, habbitually and blatantly breach the rules, the regulations and the law -- placing public safety in extreme jeopardy as a result, they are neither censured nor denied the right to fly, as I have been.
Here is the first in a series of videos in which I finally show the world just what the *real* dangers at the Tokoroa airfield are and how it seems that there are some who "can do no right" (me) and others (everyone else) "who can do no wrong" -- in the eyes of those authorities charged with preserving safety.
In these videos, I will present clear and undeniable *evidence* that calls into question the objectivity of those organisations and which actually shows clear prejudice against me and a worrying disregard for the real safety issues at this airfield.
Watch for coming instalments when you'll see others, including those already convicted of offenses under CAA laws, blatantly, repeatedly and habbitually breaking the law, the rules and the regulations -- yet again, without any censure from the authorities -- despite a full awareness of the offending.
And yet, *I*, someone who is one of the hobby's most active promoters and someone who believes in delivering safety through educating and informing the RC flying community, am the only person *in the entire world* who is specifically forbidden to fly RC model aircraft at the Tokoroa airfield -- despite the fact that my only crime has been to level honest critcism at those who don't do their jobs properly.
Should this situation be allowed to continue?
Is "safety" just a buzzword and a useful excuse for "dealing to" those you don't like in the case of the SWDC and CAA?
One could certainly be forgiven for thinking so.
