While you can use other bluetooth game controllers the Amazon branded device was designed specifically for use with their new TV set top box.
It feels very nice in the hand, very similar to the Xbox 360 controller. The Dpad is really nicely done and makes classic games playable. I had a hard time pairing it up with my computer as it took over some mouse movement, so this is something that will likely only work with the Amazon Fire TV.
