Blade 550X Pro RC Heli - First Flight Ends Bad With a Hard Crash
After losing a Goblin 500, I decided to try again with a bigger heli. The Blade 550X assembled quickly, but I still spent weeks making sure everything was tight and tuned. Apparently it didn't matter because the second I tried a loop I could hear the motor cut out. I was hoping that it would kick back in, but it didn't. It just fell and there was nothing I could do to stop it. No more big helis for me. Repair costs are just too much. I am sticking with the 450s and smaller.
