HTC First with Facebook Home Unboxing
Aaron unboxes and takes a first look at the HTC First, the first (no pun intended) phone to launch with Facebook Home preinstalled out of the box. Available now at AT&T for $99.99 in white, blue, red, and black, the First is the second attempt to combine Facebook and a smartphone together.
Specs include:
1.4 GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU
4.3-inch HD 720p display
5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (stock) with Facebook Home preinstalled
Facebook Home is coming to Google Play today, and will be available for download onto the Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4, Note II, and HTC One. This phone won't appeal to those seeking the highest-end specifications, but it offers a nice blend of features, functionality, and price for many Facebook-hungry consumers. Beyond that, you can disable Facebook Home and use it as a stock Android device, making it near-perfect for enthusiasts that find the Nexus 4 too large.
