BMFA Queens Cup Challenge

The Queens Cup Challenge was held at Popham Airfield in July 2016.
Her Majesty The Queen approved the gift of the trophy to the Royal Aero Club of the United Kingdom in 2010. In 2016 the Cup has been awarded to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) and was awarded to the winner of a specially arranged First Person View (FPV) Multi-rotor racing event, the winner was Gary Kent (JusticeFPV) who mastered the course with pure speed and consistency.
Racing was run by the awesome chaps of Rotor-Racing.com, they put on an excellent race weekend and everyone had an brilliant time. It was an honour to fly and spend the weekend with everyone at the event and so great to see old and new faces there.
The main race in the video was from a qualifying round on the first day, after hitting the top of the gate my lipo got pushed out the front of its strap which rebooted the quad but luckly stayed connected. While taking off, my spotter told me the condition of the quad but I really wanted to get 2 more laps so carried on and stayed high but slow and gentle to make sure I didn't loose power.
The quad I am flying in the video is an Armattan Quads SCX200, its a light (sub 90g) racing frame built for pure action and fun, its my go to quad for all my races at the moment, check it out-
