As our societies become increasingly sophisticated the demands for knowledge evolve and change. In 2015 we're sending kids to schools with little or no emphasis on 21 century knowledge. At the same time the people of Norway are busting with knowledge and the classic Norwegian will to make dugnad! We want to put the power of technology in the hands of everyone. Bring on the people powered training for 21 century knowledge: "Teach the kids to code"(Lær Kidsa Koding!)
Torgeir Waterhouse is a Norwegian director and lobbyist. He has especially focused on cases regarding copyright issues and digital medias. In 2007, the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv said Waterhouse played a key factor when Apple stopped trying to force its users to have to buy Ipods when using their Itunes system. Moreover, he's been a senior advisor at the Norwegian Consumer Council from 1998-2008, where he, among other things, worked on the 'Napster-case' and different issued regarding music sharing online, copyrights and locked-inn DRM-solutions. Today, Torgeir Waterhouse works as the Director for Internett and New Media at IKT-Norway.
