HP has made a few changes to the HP Stream 11, including one that impacts gaming and Minecraft performance.

The new Stream 11 feels very much like last year's edition with a few tweaks. It's about the same weight and size, has the same great keyboard, and is also running with a fanless design.
But the N3050 processor has some issues for gamers. These sub $200 PC's are never great for high end gaming but all of them do well with Minecraft and other lighter games. This one struggles with Minecraft with issues similar to what we saw on the Acer Cloudbook we reviewed a few weeks ago.
I suspect it's due to drivers that need to be optimized, but at the moment it doesn't appear to perform as well as last year's version did.
I'm tweaking the format of my PC reviews to make them flow a little faster. It's clear that most of the PCs we review can adequately handle web browsing and word processing so I am going to shorten those segments up a bit and instead focus on things specific to each product I'm reviewing.
