Realacc RX5808 Pro Diversity for FatSharks: First look / test flight
Here's my initial look at this much cheaper diversity system for FatSharks. I got mine from bang good here (Full disclosure: Affiliate links used)
They also do a 2 rx's in one (similar to the True-D design) here
I chose the split antenna as I thought it would be better for arranging anything bigger than a small patch antenna, and I wasn't sure how much heat two rx's in such a small space would generate.
Anyway, as described I'll give these a better test when I've got the proper doors to make everything a bit more sturdy - but after the initial testing, they certainly seem to switch ok, and there's no disturbance to the picture when they do - so a good start.
