Skywalker 1900, Crusing around low!

Took the Skywalker out for a spin trying out the new 360º pan servo that I FINALLY got in there... lol I like it! Also tried out the Eagle Eyes ground station. I got it mainly for the diversity feature, and the built in audio/video splitter and low voltage alarm are nice to have too! I don't have any other Eagle Tree gear so I can't use the other features like telemetry and tracking, but I've honestly never wanted that either. ;) I used a Racewood receiver with an 8dbi patch and a Lawmate receiver with a stock whip, and it worked well. I like that you can mix receivers like that with it! I will raise the sensitivity a little higher than the default 5 our of 10, it didn't seem to want to switch until the video was getting kinda bad. Not bad enough that I couldn't fly by it, but bad enough that the other signal was much cleaner and it hung on to the snowy one for longer than it needed to. ;) Will play with that some more later on! I'll post the ground footage from this flight later on maybe... .

Here's some affiliate links to the video gear I use from Ready Made R/C:
1.3GHz video transmitters (I use 200, 400, 800, and 1500mW on various planes)
I recommend this receiver to go with them. I use an older Racewood type they used to sell, but these are supposed to be at least as good with the same Comtech tuners in them. Apparently Racewood is no longer in business, so here's what replaced them:
I use this 8dbi Patch Antenna, it has been my go-to antenna for a long time now, for years! lol I've been out more then 10 miles using one of these and the 800mW vtx listed above:
On the transmitter side, the stock dipoles that come with them work pretty good together with that patch, but if you want slightly better performance and less weight/drag, consider these: __
