The sky eye from Silverlit is the first 3 ch heli with the ability to transmit video directly to a monitor embedded in the transmitter, the heli communicates with the transmitter using the 2.4 GHz radio band and it even displays how much battery time the heli has left on the monitor.
The video is 640 by 480 and is recorded as an .asf file
I had to convert them or play them with VLC media player since windows media player and QuickTime don't recognize .asf files by default.
The range in the home is great, I can even go to the next room and close the door and the video will still be visible on the transmitter, however outside at the park or at the hobby shop I encountered a lot of interference and ended up with a choppy video stream.
The heli flies for about 7 min and it charges with the included usb charging cable in about 35 minutes.
