It's the final installment of our inaugural Drift Garage series building a drifting missile car for 5 Grand (plus a few extra upgrades)! Professional Formula Drift driver Chris Forsberg takes us through the process of modifying the steering including adding MA Motorsports Awesometron 5000 knuckles and adjustable arms to add more steering angle and accommodate your new wheels. Forsberg adds a style and performance upgrade with big sticky Hankook Ventus R-S3 tires up front for grip. Forsberg explains the importance of checking toe alignment using toe plates. A quick rattle can paint job and it's off to Club Loose to get sideways with Brian Wilkerson in shotgun! Woo!
Now it's your turn, upload photos of your missiles with the hashtag #DriftGarageDIY (We're giving away prize packs from Hoonigan to the best looking cars!)
Got questions about prepping your missile car, steering mods, tires, engines, Turbo, safety, welding, suspension...anything? Leave your questions below in the comment field or tweet them to #AskDriftGarage and Chris will answer them in an upcoming response video.
