In this episode, the Roswell Flight Test Crew hears from the team at ActionDrone about the AD1 – a foldable quadcopter featuring a robust, two-axis, front-mounted camera gimbal that they sent in for testing. Customized with the crew's signature yellow-and-black color scheme, the ActionDrone team puts the aircraft through its paces, demonstrating GPS, Attitude and Manual flight modes using the included Taranis Plus radio. The AD1 also includes a camera switch, enabling the pilot to select either the stabilized GoPro Hero4 or a fixed board camera in real time, while the aircraft is in the air. This is connected to an analog video transmitter, providing a latency-free First-Person View (FPV) flying.
