Introduction (Art-Tech EF2000 Electric Ducted Fan Jet w/ 2.4Ghz System)
Over the last few years, the popularity and achievements of electric flight have progressed very rapidly. Two of the markets that have seen some of the largest growth are the foamy EDFs (Electric Ducted Fan), and RTF (Ready To Fly) offerings that are available from many manufacturers today. One of those manufacturers, Art-Tech has been around for a few years, and produces quite a diverse range of products including R/C airplanes, helicopters, batteries, ESCs, gyros, servos, and slew of other assorted electronics. For those of us in North America interested in their products, Nitroplanes.com carries quite a few of Art-Techs' offerings, and have been kind enough to provide me with one of their very complete Eurofighter 2000 RTF kits for review.
