RC Electric REPUBLIC P-47 THUNDERBOLT with REALISTIC SOUND SYSTEM [*UltraHD and 4K*]
Adding a sound system to a nice scale model is certainly one of the top ways to improve it's presence in the air...and that's exactly what Bob did with this lovely P-47. Bob was kind enough to provide details on this model..."The P-47 flown by me I converted from the old Hangar 9 bubble top 65 inch span 'No Guts No Glory' ARTF. I fitted a Hacker A50-16s on 6sx5000 40C Turnigy Lipos turning a 16x8 APC E prop with a Jeti 77 ESC. The rear fuselage was converted to a 'razorback' with balsa and re-covered with Oracover. I had the canopy plug made by a friend and vacformed by Sarik Vacform. The finish is sprayed Humbrol enamel. The sound system is by Benedini and is powered from the flight battery. Two speakers are fitted inside the cowling fed by 50 watts input. The sound is recordings of an actual Pratt and Whitney 2800 as used in the P-47. The start up/shut down and guns are controlled by a separate channel and the throttle controls the sound and volume of the main engine sound. The model weighs 10 pounds."
