HKPilot 2.5 (APM 2.5) Loiter & RTL Field Test Tip
This build consists of:
- HKPilot 2.5:
- QuadLugs frame:
- QBrain 4-in-1 ESCs
I've been tuning this HKPilot 2.5 and have been pretty impressed so far. It's nearly identical to tuning APM 2.5, but I've had a lot more trouble with Loiter & RTL modes. Have gone through plenty of calibration & compassmot routines.
Compassmot reported 41% interference, which is higher than I had hoped and considered a grey area for performance. The HKPilot has an internal compass and sits just above the QBrain 4-in-1 ESCs. I'm planning on doing a comparison test with standard ESCs mounted on each arm, which should keep interference further away from the HKPilot compass.
