Tesla have surprised the entire world with the launch of the brand new Cybertruck! It's a pickup with a design unlike any other seen before, with armoured doors, impressive EV performance, and new technologies and features. Let's take a very first look at the launch event and even hop onboard for a ride to check it out.
The Tesla Cybertruck carries a design that's totally new, like a spaceship with angles and flat panels. Offered as a 6-seater, it has a covered and illuminated loading bed that you can even directly drive into with their new electric ATV. The roof is a large panoramic glass offering, with the prices starting from just $40,000 and the top spec $70,000 Cybertruck capable of 0-60mph in only 2.9 seconds.
This really brings a new idea to the pickup truck segment, a full electric offering but with immensely controversial looks - almost totally left-field in a world that isn't often surprised. Tesla definitely pulled one out of the bag there, even if the demonstration of the Armor Glass being smashed didn't entirely go to plan...
