Hi guys, hope you are doing great! Lithophanes are back! To welcome the new year I've been working on spherical lithophanes, so instead of just 3D printing a flat image, I'm now attaching the picture to a sphere! I found the world map to be a perfect picture, and a perfect match for this project. Here's my result guys, hope you'll like it!
The 3D printed lithophane was printed in 94h, using white PLA filament. Can you use other filament colors? Yes you can but white will look the best.
The 3D printer used in this video was the Creality CR-10S, it's probably my favourite printer at the moment. If you want to know more which 3D printer to pick you can check out my latest comparison video:
