LiPo Battery explosion prompted me to build a self contained PORTABLE Charging Station.

At least I tried SOMETHING which is better than nothing! When the LiPo Battery exploded in my charging bag, it burned the wires and also fried the charger! (See this example video courtesy of Rajucam Aerial Services) Therefore, I decided to make a safer and easier charging setup, which I call my LiPo Charging Station. Always be aware of how and where you charge your LiPo batteries and let this be a reminder that LiPo accidents can happen at any time to anybody. Pay attention to the 6s test, as it is dramatic and what happened to me. I have no faith in charging bags anymore and am glad I had the charger atop a ceramic tile. Smoke was definitely a problem though. When it happened I was immediately on top of it with a fire extinguisher and got it out immediately. Note about my new charging station, I have small holes in the tool box lid to relieve pressure and am also planning to add a fire extinguisher inside that goes off if a fire. Be safe.
