The FC40 is basically a 1st gen phantom but now the controls are swapped so that it uses 5.8ghz transmitter (like the vision) and the new FC40 camera uses 2.4ghz.
This is NOT for the very first gen Phantoms that use 2.4ghz tranmitters for flight controls.
