I didn't even realize this thing takes 6" props too. That makes the AUW on it amazing and it would be an excellent 6" quad.
This quad actually takes up to 6S however I would recommend you stick to 4S 1300-1500 batteries unless you're more experienced with these things. It will take some tuning and adjusting to get it to work right on anything above 4S.
There is also a 6S version with 1700kv motors if you prefer to just run 6S. The primary benefit is that you feel less voltage sag throughout your flight.
The settings the quad comes with are fine but I prefer stock settings. Stock rates as well. The only things I change is Feed Forward which I turn down to 18 on all axis and I set the TPA to 0.50 with Breakpoint at 1500
