Call of Cthulhu: The Official Videogame promises to bring creepy, Lovecraftian horror to your Xbox One and PS4 and this is the first gameplay. As a private investigator, you're sent to Darkwater Island to investigate the murder of an artist, but as is custom for Lovecraft there are also weird cults, sea monsters and your own fragile sanity to contend with. As you might expect, Call of Cthulhu plans to mess with your head, both in the more obviously creepy stuff, but also in more subtle ways that will make you question what's real and what isn't. Hint: we think the terrifying ancient tentacle monsters might actually be real, so maybe avoid those.
Call of Cthulhu is scheduled for launch in 2018, with a release date yet to be confirmed.
