So far, the “X’s” vomited across the score card had shown that neither of these two players were backing down. Nothing but strikes for either player up until now, so it was all going to come down to the 10th frame. The Bearded Man went first. Strike. Strike. 9 pins. Damn. Damn damn damn. Next was Gus. Strike. Strike. STRIKE. BUT WAIT! “You crossed the line!! Mark it zero!!” “What?” “You know! You know! You crossed the line! Mark! It! Zero!!” And with that, The Bearded Man won the championship. Winning isn’t always glamorous folks, and neither is doing the right thing. But winning is winning. And The Bearded Man knows how to win.
