I've been waiting for this day for more than 6 months and dreading it at the same time. I'm chuffed at how well it went and it's rare, but I feel proud of myself!
Sure, it could have been smoother, it could have been more controlled but hey, I've never flown a plane before! I wish I could have kept going for miles and miles.
I used an ImmersionRC 600mw VTX for the maiden because the ground station isn’t finished yet.
I cut half of the video out because it got rather boring. There was another flight but I thought I'd only show the maiden and my first attempt at flying a plane.
It’s totally different to flying a quad, it doesn’t perform like a quad, it’s nowhere near as responsive as a quad and sometimes, it’s like wading through treacle..... I LOVE IT!!!!!
