Skyhunter #4 Low
Here is some clips from a few flight late evening, early morning flights I had.
Some people have ask my secret for smooth stable video. Is the the plane,camera or camera mount? Well, it's neither one. It's the weather. Here in Texas is gets pretty hot during the summer. Once the ground heats up it gets really turbulent and that makes for some bumpy video. Even when then wind is calm. So if you want a smooth ride during the Texas summer you're going to have to be out there at sunrise, before the ground heats up. And I also watch windalert.com for those days where the wind is zero. This was one of those days.
I love the Skyhunter but that plane didn't make the video smooth. Any plane would have been smooth on a day like that. The sun had just come up and it was DEAD CALM. I've only had few other days in the past that were this calm and it's always right as the sun comes up or goes down. Maybe where you live the weather is different but that's how to do it in Texas.
