Easy car cigarette lighter to XT60 adapter: A must-have for every car - QUICK GUIDE

Title says it all - this is just a quick and simple XT60 adapter for the cigarette lighter of your car / truck / boat etc.
There are plenty of ready-made options but I wanted a very compact one, with the XT60 connector very close to the car lighter adapter, so I can plug in my extension leads for the field chargers or my XT60 to DC jack cable for my TS100 soldering iron.
As always, take all the necessary precautions when charging Lipos and never leave them unattended. And, of course, do not plug your batteries straight to your car lighter adapter!

As mentioned in the video, the current drawn from your 12V car lighter plug will be higher than the charge current you set on your charger, when charging batteries that are 3S or higher. For example, with the conservative 8A fuse of the adapter I used, I suggest a max charging current of 5A for 4S LiPos.
