I use my Blade 350 Quadcopter for most aerial work, with a Firefly Q6 HD camera on a gyro gimbal. For spotting or watching from the ground, I have a Micro FPV cam powered by a 1 S battery that transmits to the DVR on the ground, also installed.
The Micro Camera only cost $19 but does what I need it to do on the 200 mw power setting. To use that setting legally in North America, a person must have a HAM technician license.
Although the FCC may not be monitoring, if someone turns you in, the FCC will come. $8 to $10 thousand dollar fines aren't worth it to take the chance, so I have mine.
I like the Digital Video Recorder albeit the battery included was toast! A 3S is recommended, as a 2 s wont run it long. The 3s I am using runs it over 4 hours! I bought it over the Eachine, because it has a tripod mount.
In this video, I also test the 3 power settings ranges with the Micro camera, so you can see what works for you. Thanks for watching and subscribing.
