Polar Pro Hero 5 Black Macro Lens | Underwater Test
In hind site I should have included this with my original review video of the Polar Pro macro lens. But better late than never :)
Hero 5 Black Macro Lens:
In this video I run some tests to see how the Macro Lens from Polar Pro for the Hero 5 Black performs under water. When I contacted Polar Pro about using this lens under water, they informed me that it was indeed possible but if water gets under the lens, you simple have to remove the lens to get any air bubbles out and continue as normal.
In my tests water did indeed get in the lens right away, however this did not effect the video footage. I was quite pleased with its performance underwater and definitely recommend this macro lens to casual GoPro users who may want to use it to video or photograph fish or coral will scuba diving or snorkelling.
