Axial Wraith FPV - Test run...

Wow, YT really butchered the quality on this one... Sorry! (Guess it doesn't like all the fast motion... lol)
Just a quick test run with an Axial Wraith, fitted with some FPV gear. I wanted to do a quick run to see what kind of range I would get. This was about 1/4 mile, with the transmitter and ground station inside the house, and the vegetation in the field taller than the antennas on the truck. I ran out of video before R/C control. I should get tons of range when I set up outside! ;) More to come later! .

I recommend this receiver to go with them. I use an older Racewood type they used to sell, but these are supposed to be at least as good with the same Comtech tuners in them. Apparently Racewood is no longer in business, so here's what replaced them:
I use this 8dbi Patch Antenna, it has been my go-to antenna for a long time now, for years! lol I've been out more then 10 miles using one of these and the 800mW vtx listed above:
On the transmitter side, the stock dipoles that come with them work pretty good together with that patch, but if you want slightly better performance and less weight/drag, consider these: __
