The Bugs 2 range tested. It is quite impressive! I have easily have passed the 1 km range and the drone was able to carry on. Likely in free of signals areas you may reach more than that.
Just look at it - it is totally awesome! Good materials quality. The motors are fine. Not powerful enough to lift an action camera and a gimbal at the same time, but good for carrying the camera at least.
I like the usage of prop nuts here - you no longer need a special tool as we do for the Bugs 3. Mentioning it - the b2, depending on the model, costs twice, or a little more than twice than the b3.
There are two models - with a regular camera (marked as B2C), or with a wifi camera (B2W). The latter one lets you do both simultaneously, although I notice that if you do both, there might be issues with the recording.
The bugs 2 can do everything that the B3 can, plus:
- altitude hold
- headless mode
- gps
- camera
- telemetry on the TX
- at least twice better range
- smartphone hold.
Doesn't have any prop guards or extended legs.
