DJI has teamed with hard drive manufacturer LaCie to create the Copilot BOSS 2TB Hard Drive. BOSS stand for Backup On-Set Solution. This drive is aimed at photographers and cinematographers looking for a solution to offload their media safely and easily in the field. While this is not a new concept, I saw a demo of this product at NAB 2018 and was so impressed I ordered it on the spot. It arrived just in time for me to take it on a trip to Iceland, and I have been very happy with how easy it is to use.
