The conflict at the heart of most games is between the game trying to kill the player and the player trying to stop that happening. But sometimes we make things a lot easier for the game by being stupid, careless, or both. Consider these various ways we've died where we had no one to blame but ourselves and subscribe for a video like this on the regs:
One time, we let an AI convince us to jump into a bottomless pit in Portal 2. Then there was the time we shot at an old atomic bomb in Hitman Absolution, just for kicks.
Or how about the time we mind-melded with Morinth in Mass Effect 2, after explicit and fair warning that it would kill us? That one is also on us.
