The news that Fallout 76 would be a multiplayer game left us with the same mix of emotions a person would feel upon entering a Vault Tec vault: excitement, confusion, and the feeling that it could all go very wrong, depending on how things played out.
However, we’ve now seen a little bit of how it does play out, thanks to a three hour hands-on session with the game, and are here to give you a better idea of what to expect when you head out into the West Virginian wasteland next month. Fallout 76 is out on release date 14 November 2018 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, with an open beta beginning on 23 October for Xbox One, and 30 October for PlayStation 4 and PC.
