Turbo-jet powered FU-24 Fletcher giant RC scale plane
This very impressive turboprop FU-24 Fletcher giant-scale RC plane was flown by Rene Redmond at the 2012 ANZAC international jet meeting held in Tokoroa New Zealand.
The model has a 134" wingspan, weighs 24.05Kg and is powered by a Wren 44 turbine -- the same engine that was used in the Das Uglystick video I posted previously
Unfortunately the dull, overcast conditions during the flight made it very difficult to get good flight footage but I did my best.
