BLHeli Active Braking: ON vs OFF
This is a demonstration of what you motors will do with the BLHeli active braking turned on or off. With BLHeli ESCs you have to option of choosing. With BLHeli_S ESCs it is always on. I wouldn't worry about not having the option with newer ESCs because having braking turned on is a good thing.
