Blade 350 QX Acrobatic Agility Mode and Return to Home demo

Had the chance last week to try a Blade 350QX on full acro mode. That's what the red light on the back means. Blue is self leveling I think, and green gps mode. At the end of the video, asked the owner to put it into Return to Home for me, to see it land itself. That was a flashing red light.
Pleasantly surprised that it was able to flip and roll very nicely. Good forward flight speed and agility. Had it doing forward and backward flips, travelling ones, and full power loops too. This is out of the box, with full 100 dual rates and 25% expo on everything.
Very responsive and the stabilization, even in full acro mode was good. Stopped the rolls and flips where you wanted. NO Gopro Camera on it at the time of course, but I do hear that the camera adds a lot of nose weight, so you have to compensate for that somehow.
All in all, good RTF quad, but one thing I do not like on any of these new quads coming out, is the idiot mode.The GPS mode, RTH and auto leveling all great, useful modes, but the Idiot mode, No matter which way it's facing, the sticks will move it the direction you push . This will not train any people to fly helis or quads, it will just confuse them when they try to fly one properly as they have no practice with orientation at all. I know some will say it helped them, but really it didn't lol. Seriously, if you need to , use a sim first, or a micro quad to learn. You can buy a Blade MQX or the Nano, both good for learning on
