After using my new Chromecast for the last few days I found that it would shut down and restart due to overheating. A quick search found that this is a common complaint of googles new chromecast. Also my wifi connection would drop for no reason, contently buffering. So I set about fixing these issues. In this video I will show you how I hacked my Chromecast to fix the heat and connection problems.
