Resident Evil 2 Remake Gameplay: 20 Big Differences in the First 20 Minutes of Resident Evil 2

It’s been over 20 years since Resident Evil 2 and to mark the occasion, Capcom is working on a Resident Evil 2 remake. But just because it’s a remake doesn’t mean it's just a straight-up repeat the 1998 original. We played a timed demo* here at E3 2018 which was only 20 minutes long, but even that was long enough for us to spot 20 differences between this remake and our beloved original. The Resident Evil 2 remake is out on release date 25 January 2019 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
*The timed demo at E3 2018 didn't take place right at the beginning of the game, so the 20 minutes we played were from the moment Leon enters the Raccoon City Police Department building, rather than the literal opening 20 minutes of the remake.
